Cub Scout Pack

Cub Scouting is a national program for elementary school-aged children 1st through 5th Grade. Niwot Pack 161 is non-denominational and our charter is to develop them into good citizens and leaders for tomorrow

Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing fun things while learning. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Most activities take place in the Den while larger activities such as the Pinewood Derby and Rocket Blastoff happen with Pack. Den meetings normally take place twice a month and Pack meetings once a month.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.
